Duxbury Art Association (DAA) is pleased to announce our 53rd Annual Winter Juried Show, known as one of the most prestigious juried competitions in the region.
We are excited to be showing this exhibit at the Art Complex Museum, 189 Alden Street, Duxbury, MA. Show dates: February 1, 2026 through April 26, 2026
Submissions will only be accepted online via entrythingy.com.

Eligibility
Entry is open to all artists. DAA membership is not required.
Work must be original and not previously exhibited in any judged DAA show.
Jurors: TBA
Requirements
Sculpture: Please do not submit it with a pedestal. The ACM will provide appropriate pedestals.
All work must be properly framed or gallery wrapped (no clip-on frames or sawtooth hooks).
No wet paint!
Work must be clearly represented and will be disqualified if it is deemed incomplete, improperly framed or does not meet the judges expectations based on images sent.
Online Entry
Entries are only being accepted online. Entry fees are non-refundable.
The submission process will open on November 30, 2026 and will close at 11:59pm on December 24, 2025.
Image Format
JPEG/JPG only.
High quality, high resolution photos are very important to assist the judges when jurying.

IMPORTANT: All pieces must be entered on the same submission to receive the multi-piece discount!! Choose one category for your submission even if your multiple pieces are different mediums. We will adjust the categories on the back end.

Delivery of Accepted Art
Walk-in: Art must be dropped off at the Art Complex Museum Sat January 17 and Sun January 18, 2026, 12pm-5pm.

Shipments:
Incoming shipping: Objects must arrive at the Art Complex Museum by Friday, January 16th, 2026. Work not submitted by this time will be disqualified from the show.
Please label all artwork with your name, price, title, and contact information.
ACM Shipping Information
Artists must include a return shipping label valid for approximately 120 days (exhibition dates and necessary gallery work time). Be aware that some return shipping labels void after 90 days so speak with your shipping vendor for guidance. You can opt to email a return label closer to the end of the exhibition if you confirm with the Art Complex Museum to do so. The Art Complex Museum will retain all original packing material for return shipping (repacked as received), and will notify artists prior to return shipping so recipients can plan accordingly. Objects will be shipped approximately two weeks after the exhibition closes, giving staff time to first install the next show.
Outgoing shipping: Packages will be repacked by ACM staff and leave the building the week of May 4-8
All work must be shipped to the museum's physical address listed below, by either Federal Express (FedEx) or United Parcel Service (UPS). We cannot receive packages though the P.O. Box. The United States Postal Service does not deliver to the museum’s physical address.

Misrepresented Art
We reserve the right to disqualify work that is damaged, incomplete, not framed properly, or that upon inspection does not meet the standards of the jury based upon photos provided.
Insurance and Liability
Every reasonable precaution will be taken to ensure protection and careful handling of work. The DAA and affiliates are not responsible for the loss or damage of works. Artists should provide their own insurance coverage for shipping. Art Complex Museum insures all work for the duration of the show. Artists may be asked to ascertain current market value of art accepted
Opening Reception-February 22, 2026, 1-4pm
Award certificates will be given at the Reception. People's Choice Award will be determined via ballot votes tallied at the end of the show.

Each Category awarded a 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Honorable mentions may also be awarded at Judges' discretion

Sales
Commission: Members 25% / Non-Members 40%
All sold art must remain in the show for the duration of the exhibit.
Pick up of work
In person: Saturday April 26, 2026 from 5pm-7pm at the Art Complex Museum. No art will be released before 5:00pm. Please bring your ID or send a signed note with permission for a 2nd party to pick up your work.
Shipped Art: Artwork with a paid self-addressed UPS or FedEX label will be returned the week of May 5-9. Art will be sent back in the box it was received.
Media Release
DAA reserves the right to reproduce accepted works on our website and/or promotion materials. Submissions into our exhibition indicate acceptance of these conditions.

Any art not picked up on 4/26/2026 will be transported to the DAA office at The Ellison Center for the Arts, 64 St. George St, Duxbury, MA and will incur a $10/day storage fee. Any artworks not retrieved by 5/30/26 will be considered the property of the Duxbury Art Association.
