Art of Architecture:  images of all aspects of architecture

 

(Windows, doorways, barns, sheds, buildings, sky lines, etc.)

 

The Duxbury Art Association is calling all artists to submit two-dimensional artwork in any media for an upcoming exhibition entitled: Art of Architecture:  images of all aspects of architecture.

 

To be considered for the exhibition, original artwork containing an image representing your interpretation of Art of Architecture:  images on all aspects of architecture, please hand deliver work to the Duxbury Art Association Office.  Entry is open to all artists. DAA membership is not required. Work must have been completed within the last five years and not previously exhibited in a DAA Show. A registration form must be submitted at time of artwork delivery.  All artwork must be delivered properly, securely framed. No clip-on frames or saw-tooth hangers, please.  All works must be ready to hang including a wire - no exceptions, please.

 

Artwork Registration:

During Business Hours:

March 1 - March 4: 10:00am- 4:00pm

March 7 - March 11: 10:00am- 4:00pm

March 14 - March 18 10:00am- 4:00pm

Evenings:

March 9 & March 16: 10:00am- 7:00pm

 

Opening Reception:  All are welcome

Friday, April 1 from 6:00pm- 8:00pm

End Date: Monday, May 2

 

Fee & Sales:

A non-refundable entry fee of $5 per piece for current DAA members and $15 per piece for non-DAA members will be charged. Membership can be updated at the time of registration. Artwork need not be listed for sale; however, if a selling price is listed on the registration form, the Duxbury Art Association retains a 40% commission on all artwork sold in the Bengtz and Cutler Galleries.
