Peru for Art Enthusiasts!

Join us for a wonderful and special trip for artists and art enthusiasts. The trip to Peru has been custom designed by Bonnie Jernigan, a published magazine, travel and arts writer as well as an experienced group trip leader and travel designer, and Janis Owens, an artist as well as a veteran traveler and travel planner.

About the Trip:
Visit Peru this spring with a group of artists and art enthusiasts. Explore Peru's timeless tapestry of traditions and landscapes, experiencing the miracle of Machu Picchu, the magic of the rainforest jungle, and the vibrancy of Lima, crown jewel of colonial South America. The adventure will include each of Peru's three distinctive regions: the Andes, the Amazon basin, and the coastal desert. Expert guides will share the secrets behind a culture that has evolved as a fusion of layers, from ancient pre-Inca to Spanish colonial with its Moorish influences, to modern day. This custom designed trip will combine must-see sites, local markets and off-the-beaten track surprises, with an emphasis on art encounters - from visits with artists and artisans in their studios, to insider tours of museums, as well as options for artists wishing to work en plein air. Discover authenticity and barefoot luxury: stay at Sacred Valley villas, whitewashed casitas in a cloud forest Garden of Eden, and luxurious rainforest huts where you'll sleep to the hypnotic sounds of the jungle at night.

Experience some of the finest food on the planet - Peru's food is on the international Epicurean map for its blend of Amazonian fruits, fresh Pacific seafood, and more than a thousand kinds of Andean potatoes, prepared in astonishing ways. This special trip for artists and art enthusiasts has been custom designed by Bonnie Jernigan, a published magazine, travel and arts writer as well as an experienced group trip leader and travel designer, (this will be her sixth visit to Peru); and Janis Owens, an artist as well as a veteran traveler and travel planner who will be returning for her second visit to Peru.

The ten-day adventure begins on March 20 in Lima, Peru.
Price: $3,500, includes all lodging, personalized tours with private guides and drivers, excellent accommodations, three flights within Peru, admission to attractions, most meals and lots of extras. (Add-on days available for Nazca and Lake Titicaca.) The group size is limited, so early reservations with a small deposit are recommended.  *Refer a friend and recieve a $100 credit towards your trip!
